About Patrick Wong

 

Patrick Wong, L.Ac., PhD, Acupuncturist, brings over 10 years of experience in the health industry to his practice of Acupuncture and various experience in Chinese Traditional Medicine.

 

Patrick Wong, of the Oriental Wellness Center, has over 10 years of clinical experience from his current office location in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. He is a graduate of New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (NYCTCM), where he earned his clinical Master's Degree in Acupuncture. He has over 2,000 hours of clinical training in traditional Chinese Acupuncture, as well as Acupuncture Physical Medicine, which integrates classical acupuncture with modern Acupuncture techniques. He has attended different acupuncture modality training programs and applies these techniques in his clinical practice.

Recently in 2023, Patrick earned his PhD degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Fujian Traditional Chinese Medicine School in Fuzhou, Fujian of China.  It is one of the well known schools in China.

Patrick is certified as a Diplomat in Acupuncture from the NCCAOM, and he currently holds a state license to practice acupuncture in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. He uses different techniques specific to the needs of the patient. He specializes in Chronic and Acute Pain Issues, Sports Injuries, Infertility Menopause/PMS Symptoms, Smoking Cessation (Quitting Smoking), Weight Loss, Allergy Control, Immune Support for Cancer Patients, Stress, Anxiety & Depression, Digestive Complaints and Cosmetic Acupuncture Treatment for Facial Rejuvenation (Cosmetic Facelift). He treats all ages, including children, and Patrick strongly believes in the body’s natural ability to heal itself - with some help from acupuncture.

 

In combination with Acupuncture, he uses nutrients, Tuina (Chinese massage therapy), Acupressure, Moxibustion, and other adjudicative therapies. He also offers non-needle techniques, which is usually helpful for children. Patrick brings a warm and caring manner to his practice and his number one goal is to improve the health and well-being of all his patients, achieve optimum health and to improve the quality of life and well-being of his patients by alleviating pain and restoring good health.
